As announced as part of Q4 results on Tuesday 16th February 2021, Magseis Fairfield have launched a separate Renewables business unit. Magseis Renewables AS is officially registered as a wholly owned company within Magseis Fairfield ASA group.
This newly established business unit will focus on the growing market within Renewable energy sector and solely seek opportunities for our offering within:
- Carbon capture and storage (CCS)
- Offshore windfarm placement
- Offshore minerals
We enter these markets in a capital light fashion by utilizing our existing broad technology offering tailored to the needs of our Energy partners.
During 2020 we completed a CCS field test in the North Sea. Additional tests are planned for 2021 within the CCS and Offshore windfarm markets.
